I stopped here for breakfast on my way home from a weekend at Dominion Raceway, and the shrimp and cheesy grits with a runny egg on top (special request) completely hit the spot. It was a big hug in a bowl, exactly what I wanted. Honorable mention to the breakfast bowl the lady at the table next to me ordered... it looked like every delicious breakfast food all together.

My favorite brunch place ever! Food is very creative pairing like the peanut butter and Jelly French toast! Bar tender / waiter was super stressed but never was anything but nice to us! Although locations wise it is small so I recommend getting a reservation.

Mason Dixon is our go to local diner. We frequent this restaurant and also bring out of town guests. The food is right up our alley. We especially love that the chicken tenders are automatically GF. When Jeff can get tasty breakfast food and I can find more than a few GF items that aren't salad, we are happy. The price is reasonable the portions are ample, the service is excellent. We prefer to eat outside but the indoor seating is okay too. The decor is interesting the seating area is cozy. A few warnings I have is that the layout isn't great for large parties (8-10) and parking is tight.

We finally got Dani as our waitress! Everyone there is great but I made a post before about when she wasn't our waitress and just did what needed to be done (not saying our waitress at the time wasn't doing her job) the team work is just unmatched. This review is about the GRILLED macaroni and cheese it was a happy little surprise. So good I ordered a second helping! Get some!

I love the energy of Mason-Dixon Cafe and the name is so appropriate, coming from a NYer. I never seen so many items on an menu. The place is nice. It was crowded when I got there, so i inquired about the counter seating. It was reserved too. I waited a short time. I am an old fashioned grits girl, so I was not a fan of the fancy cheesy grits I ordered. However, I loved the eggs, turkey sausage, and toast. The toast was like what my mom use to make out of necessity. It was grilled made. Yum yum.

Friendly service, really like that the music wasn't very loud too. I had a half stack of pancakes and some of their bbq bacon. Loved the cardamom butter and the bbq bacon flavor (they also cooked the bacon well).

What a find this place was! I'm visiting from Arizona and my brother told me he always wanted to try this place, but every time he passed by, there was a long line. Well that was telling! I had to try this place now! I came the first time alone on a weekday while he was visiting Germany with his wife. I looked at the menu and the breakfast items looked scrumptious. It was about 11:30; so I opted for lunch. I ordered the popular Smack yo Momma burger which had Mac and cheese on it. It was cooked a perfect medium and it was the best tasting burger I had in quite some time! In fact, I had a similar burger elsewhere and I couldn't taste the Mac n cheese. Here I could. It complimented the burger well. I was just a tad disappointed with the fries though. It could've been cooked a little longer. I told my brother about my experience after he returned home! So I made another trip accompanied by him! My brother of course had to order a burger after he learned of my experience. I ordered fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and gravy. Sautéed veggies were included. My brother loved loved loved his burger! He had the Mushroom Swiss Burger. He said he finally found a place he can grab a decent burger because he just doesn't frequent restaurants much. His wife is a great cook and she cooks "healthy" meals. This will be his new 'Cheat Day' place! Lol! My pork chop dish exceeded my expectations! It was lightly breaded, juicy, and flavorful. The gravy both the sausage and brown were delicious! I left nothing on the plate! Whoever they have as chefs/cooks, keep them! They know what they're doing back in the kitchen! Now I know why there's constantly a line out the door; especially on weekends!
